Privacy policy
Applies to the data practices of version 2.0, including TestFlight builds. Older versions may still use the practices described in the historical policy.
On-device calculations and history
Kinship inputs and answers are processed on your device. The app does not upload query inputs, drafts, or recent query history to our servers. Recent queries are stored locally and can be deleted or cleared in the app. Language, font and daily usage settings are also local. Whether system backups include this data depends on your device settings.
Purchases and Pro access
We use RevenueCat for receipt validation, restoring purchases, managing Pro access and purchase statistics. It processes purchase history using an automatically generated anonymous app user identifier. The app does not provide names, email addresses or custom account identifiers, or link purchase history to that identifying information. Purchase history is used for app functionality and analytics, not advertising tracking across apps or websites. Apple handles payment; we do not receive your payment card details.
Firebase and older versions
Version 2.0 removes Firebase Analytics and legacy advertising tracking integrations. It no longer collects usage or advertising data through those integrations. This does not mean older versions have stopped their previous behavior or that data previously retained by third parties has automatically been deleted.
Sharing and external links
Copying results and opening help or feedback links happen when you choose those actions. When you contact us by email or social platforms, those services process the information you provide under their own policies. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
This website
This website uses no analytics scripts, advertising scripts, forms or application-level cookies. Cloudflare Pages hosts the site and may process request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect its network. Website requests are separate from kinship queries processed within the app.
